The Maxx online for free. Kinda.....

The Maxx! In my opinion the best comic ever to come out of image comics. You can view it over at MTV. The problem with this is it has a commercial every 2 minuets. Leave it to MTV to screwup a good thing. Does anyone remember when MTV was cool? When they played music? I have not watched MTV in 17 years maybe longer.

Because I live vicariously through myself

It was told to me recently by a good friend of mine that there is a word and a movement that describes my friend and I. He said we are STEAMPUNK. I said what is that? He said its people like us that are into a sub-genre of fantasy and speculative fiction that came into prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s. The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used—usually the 19th century, and often Victorian era England—but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H. G. Wells and Jules Verne, or real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. As wikipedia states......

So, after a few weeks of mauling over the sub-genre on google. I would have to say that I am steampunk and didn't even know it. It's very strange to be into certain things your whole life only to find out that it's a living breathing subculture.

Maybe if I didn't live in a bubble that I have deliberately created around myself of non socialism I might have known of this years ago.
